Skye Bank Is Dead! Polaris Bank Takes Over After Skye Bank Licence Revocation By CBN – See Reason

A prestigious financial institution in Nigeria, Skye Bank’s Licence has recently been revoked by the Nigeria Apex bank, ‘Central Bank of Nigeria’ and renames the revoked bank (Skye Bank) to Polaris Bank Limited.

The banking revocation was announced by Mr. Godwin Emefiele who is the CBN Governor and MD of Nigeria Insurance Deposit Corporation (NDIC) in Lagos state at a media briefing.

The take over was automatically confirmed after the official twitter username of Skye Bank was changed to Polaris Bank Limited.

But Why was Skye Bank’s Licence Revoked And Taken Over By Polaris Bank limited?

This is the question that flood the social media after the sudden disclosure and I also believed they’re a reason for that.

According to the CBN Governor, Skye Bank Licence is revoked due to the inability of the bank owner to shore up the capital of N350 billion intervention received by the revoked bank in July 2016.

Emefiele added that Skye Bank needs urgent recapitalization because they can no longer operate as a financial institution in Nigeria on ‘borrowed times’ with indefinite liquidity support from Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

Central Bank of Nigeria had also injected the sum of N786 billion with the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) in order to comment on sales processes in the new bank, Polaris Bank Limited starting from Monday, 23rd of September, 2018.

The only reason revealed by CBN is that they can no longer inject or lend funds to Skye Bank anymore because the owner and the entire bank management are unable to returned the money lend to them since July 2016.

To save you (as ‘customer’) and CBN funds not to be wasted into the non-profitable bank again, I think you guys should be happy because CBN made the right choice.

The Licence revocation didn’t affect anybody (I don’t know about the bosses) but the staff of previous Skye Bank will still remain as Polaris Bank’s staffs.

After Skye Bank’s license revocation, their share price increased by 4.05 percent at 77 kobos which shows a good start for Polaris Bank limited.

The bridge bank, Polaris will start sourcing for investors to buy out AMCON after the full operation on Monday.

Unlike other businesses outside there where they invest their fortune and whole lifetime and at the end of the day, they earn something meager and fixed. I know of a man who invested about $800 on business but earn nothing as profit and couldn’t recover his capital (went bankrupt).

But in MLM business, you start with few capitals (about $50) and you may likely earn $500 within 3 months.  This is not a quick way to make money, you earn money with respect to how much more you work (In MLM, You earn directly in proportion to your efforts, sales, and network you build).

So by far, MLM is very easy to start and lucrative!

2. WealthMLM business guarantees wealth as long as the sales representatives work towards the plan or marketing strategies of the business. Bonuses, commissions, and incentives are giving to these sales representatives whenever they make a sale, call in new sales representatives, stepping up to another status, etc…

When these are accumulated together, the money earned by an earnest network marketer will be higher than those who work alone, employed, etc..

Because of this reason, most have left their job for MLM and, they are sharing impressive and motivational testimonies now.

3. FreedomOne thing you lose when you work for other people is “Freedom”. When I mean freedom, I am talking about your whole lifestyle in regard to social and financial life. No matter how big your dream is, if you are working for someone else in order to collect SALARY, you are not going to make it as fast as you have ever thought because, you are collecting something “fixed” as salary and your “responsibilities” to take care of, increases every day.

You are never entitled to “financial freedom” even if you are operating poverty in a shop!

Also, people who either work alone or under someone else don’t have what we called “social freedom or lifestyle”. This is what I mean; you wake up very early to work and close very late from the work. So, the time you are to use to catch fun with your family and friends has already been snatched away from you.

But in MLM business, you work when it’s convenient for you. The normal hours of the day to work is 8, meaning that a normal worker will work for 40 hours ( added with the time for transport, break, etc… It will be 60 hours per week) but in Multilevel Marketing business, 60 percent of their sales representatives work less than 30 hours per week will 40% work less than 10 hours per week.

Apart from social and financial freedom, MLM business open wide opportunity for their distributors to enjoy traveling incentives to foreign countries and have fun and they don’t require very long term commitment from them.

Multilevel Marketing business also allows its sales representatives to established their own business. You don’t work for any “Boss” or “employer” in MLM, you work for yourself alongside with your team of distributors or “downlines”.

Each member of a successful must have at least an area of specialization which he/she can use to help the company. That is,  they shouldn’t be good at the same skill; they must be diverse (have different roles).

For instance, if team members ‘A’ know how to plant a tree,  team members ‘B’ should know how to water it while team members ‘C’ should know how to munch the grasses around the tree….. till the tree planted mature and sold for money.

Must Be Well Organized

Although,  each member of a team are from different background, with different skills,  ideas or opinions and the way they handle things may be different but on no account should this create any chaotic or arrant argument between them.

They should be able to settle for maturity and make sure that any suggestions or idea made is managed with patience.

To achieve successful teamwork, the organization is very important. As a team leader,  you must make sure that each team member has a clear understanding of your next business plan and you should assign each member a particular mission to carry out in the business plan and make sure that all team members are working diversely for the same goal.

Merry Together

But, you must be careful and don’t think of only what will benefit you; think of the other party and how you can both gain in the transaction.

(d) Ques: What is your business structure and will your business name use a related abbreviation, such as Inc. or LLC?
Ans My business structure is farming and YES, I like to add a related abbreviations such as Nig. Ltd which stands for Nigeria Limited because I’m targeting only Nigeria Market.

NOTE:
• LLC means Limited Liability Company
• Inc. Means Incorporation – For big companies that deal with more than one product or service. For example, Microsoft Inc.

(e) Ques:: Does the length of the name matter? If so, do you want a short name or a longer name?
Ans: Length of the name matter to me because I want a business name that people can memorise at a glance… So, I prefers short business name.

(f) Ques: Do you Want Either Your Own Name or Alias to Appear in the business name? Or do you prefer Any Other Names like name that doesn’t exit?
Ans: I prefer to use either my name or Alias but since my names are too long for my business name likeness, I will choose to use my Alias instead.
