Biafra: Police Deploy More Personnel In SouthEast, South-East …Vow To Stop Nnamdi Kanu From Fleeing If Court Revokes His Bail
The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kalu has once vowed that there will be no election in Anambra State and recently, he threaten President Muhammadu Buhari that if anybody should comes and arrest him (Kalu), that person will die.
The presidency have now reacts to that his (Nnamdi Kalu) threat about Governorship election in Anambra State.
Their is an increase in the number of police personnel in the South-East and South-South zones of Nigeria which the government made as part of measures to prevent anything that can tamper with citizens’ peace, which may come from the activities of IPOB members ahead of the upcoming Anambra State governorship election.
And apart from the Mobile Police Force operatives, the force told Saturday PUNCH on Friday that it had deployed the Counter-Terrorism unit, the Intelligence unit and other conventional policemen, who would work with the state commands in the South-East and South-South zones.
Also, some reliable source in the police told “Saturday PUNCH” that the high security measure in the South-East and South-south region of Nigeria had put the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, under surveillance to prevent him from fleeing the country incase the court revoke his bail and order his re-arrest for allegedly flouting his bail conditions.
