President Mohammed Buhari headed to London Yesterday for medical check-up again immediately after meeting with the released 82 Chibok girls in Abuja.
According to his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, said:
- “He had planned to leave Sunday afternoon, but decided to tarry a bit, due to the arrival of 82 Chibok girls who arrived Abuja earlier in the day. The President wishes to assure all Nigerians that there is no cause for worry. He is very grateful for the prayers and good wishes of the people, and hopes they would continue to pray for the peace and unity of the nation.”
Mr Femi Adesina also talked about how long the president will stay in London, he said, nobody can talk about his length in London but the Federal Government will still continue to function in normal as before under the leadership of Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo.
- “President Buhari has transmitted letters about the trip to the Senate and the House of Representatives, in compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution,” he said.
Remember that President Buhari had travelled to London in January for the same check up he has went for yesterday while he returned on 10 March, after 51 days, June, last year, the President also travelled to check an ear infection.
Let pray for him… Fellow Nigerians🙏
