Governor Ayodele Fayose Suspended Agric Permanent Secretary, Oludare Abegunde With 3 Other Top-officials In The Ministry
Governor Ayodele Fayose, of Ekiti State has suspended Mr. Oludare Abegunde, the Permanent Secretary at Ekiti Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development with three other officials in the ministry.
The High-ranking officials were suspended for their incompetence and mismanagement of government farmlands across the state.
Governor Ayodele Fayose made his lack of satisfaction known on poor management of some government- owned farmlands situated at Emerin and Erifun communities along Federal Polytechnic and Afe Babalola University road in Ado-Ekiti.
Fayose also ordered the instant constitution of a board-of-panel to investigate the all the activities being carried out on the Government owned farmlands.
At the point of the suspension, the governor was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Dipo Anisulowo some top government officials.
It could also be recalled that the governor has recently apointed 12 new Executive Secretaries and managers.
