Wayne Rooney Arrives at Everton for Medical While Romelu Lukaku Is Moving In Opposite Direction £75million

Former Manchester United player, Wayne Rooney has arrived at his new club’s training Ground, Everton to undergo his medical exercises as he will be finally join the team very soon.

Wayne Rooney who been one of the frontline player in Man United and also one of the top scorers of all-time for the team will be joining the Toffees again after 13 years he was away from Merseyside, a place where he first played when he was still a teenager.

He was also the club’s capital and to the country’s football team but unfortunately, the 31-years-old veteran footballer was given least role under the management of Jose Mourinho at Manchester United last season which resulted to the lost of his position in Gareth Southgate’s England Squad.

Wayne Rooney joined the Manchester United from Everton with £27million on the back of his stunning displays at the Euro 2004 which he later won five Premier League titles, four League Cups, 1 Champions League, 1 Europa League and the 2015-16 FA Cup on his way to a personal tally of 253 goals.

According to reports from football websites, if the negotiations for Rooney movement to Everton go smoothly, Rooney will be the Sixth signing of Ronald Koeman at Everton after the complete signing of Davy Klassen, Sandro Ramirez, Micheal Keane, Henry Onyekuru and Jordan Pickford.

Also, Everton striker, Romelu Lukaku will be moving in opposite direction for £75million to Manchester United after the Man Utd witnessed the competition from Chelsea for the Belgium international.

World Cup Prize Money to $400 million

FIFA has increased the prize money for teams participating at the FIFA World Cup in Russia to $400 million. The figure is a 12% increase from the $380 million paid in 2014 in Brazil. FIFA made the announcement after its Council meeting in Kolkata, India, where the FIFA U-17 World Cup is currently taking place.

The meeting in Kolkata covered a wide array of topics including the adoption of the FIFA Transfer System for Women’s football.

The FIFA Council also ratified the decision of the Bureau of the Council of 6 September 2017 to approve the enhanced Bidding Regulations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and appointed the members of the Bid Evaluation Task Force.

Bruce Arena Resigns As U.S Men’s National Team Coach

After the USA failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, earlier this week, Bruce Arena has stepped down as head coach of the national team. Their qualifying campaign ended in a 2-1 defeat to Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday night.

Ronaldo, Messi & Neymar all nominated for The Best FIFA award

Lionel Messi, Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo have been named as the finalists for the FIFA Best Men’s Player award in 2017.

Real Madrid star Ronaldo won the accolade last year, which was the inaugural edition of the event.

The panel to decide the Best Men’s Player included Cafu, Landon Donovan, Enzo Francescoli, Diego Maradona, Carles Puyol, Carlos Valderrama and Edwin van der Sar.

The winner will be announced at the London Palladium on October 23.

Ronaldo, also the favourite for the Ballon d’Or, has been heavily tipped to win the FIFA award again after a 2016-17 season campaign which saw him win La Liga and the Champions League with Madrid.
