Nollywood Actor, Adebayo Faleti Is Dead

Some hours ago, the sad news quickly spreads than expecting on both the internet and breaking news from radio stations across Nigeria as a veteran actor, poet and broadcaster, Adebayo Faleti is dead.

According to the report from Channels TV, Adebayo Faleti died on Sunday, 23rd of July, 2017 early in the morning at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Adebayo Faleti’s Achievements Before He Died

Adebayo Faleti is not just an iconic actor or poet, he is one of the legends of Nigeria. He has done alot for this country which made him to barged a national honour of officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).

Adebayo Faleti is the man in history (First but never see second) who translated the Nigeria’s National Anthem from the composing language (English) to the Yoruba indigenous language.

Adebayo Faleti had, during his lifetime punished a well-detailed dictionary which contains both the formal or official good use of Some Yoruba’s names.

Adebayo Faleti is also one of the first staff of the first TV station in Africa which is the Western Nigeria Television, WNTV.

Adebayo Faleti’s Starred Movies Before He Died

Although Adebayo Faleti is known initially as a broadcaster which he joined with poetry, he is also one of the most talented actors in the Yoruba movies. He, according to reports have starred in Kelani’s Thunderbolt and Saworoide.

That is not all the movies he had featured, he has acted in many films but the two above has really accounted for his characters and roles.
