It could also be recalled Yesterday that the Acting President Yemi Osinbanjo wrote letters to the National Assembly seeking for their approval to request for huge loan worth whooping sum of $1.49 billion. Although, we heard no news that the NASS President, Bukola Saraki has approved the request but, what we know is the main contents of the letters.
The letters were read by the senate president, senator Bukola Saraki and the speaker house of representatives. In the letters, it is clearly started that the huge loan will be used only on 10 states among the 36 states of the federal. The loan according to what was revealed in the letters states that the governors of the 10 states will used the money to take care of agriculture, health, water and other infrastructural projects if the loan is approved.
According to what the Acting President says, Buhari-led administration is always working earnestly to change the acts and culture of abandoning started projects without completion. He added, “a new way of thinking is emerging, the Buhari administration, this government is committed to finishing whatever we start. At the end of the day, we shall ensure that.”
