Veteran Hollywood Actor, Daniel Day-Lewis Will Quit Acting After Releasing His Last Movie on December 25, 2017
Veteran Hollywood actor, Daniel Day-Lewis who have won Oscars award three times and Is seen as one of the greatest actors of his generation has recently and officially announced that he is quitting the acting scene very soon.
Daniel Day-Lewis, a 60-years-old movie star who have acted so many roles as presidents, writers, gangster, and other roles for whooping forty years will just retire finally after releasing his latest hit to theaters on December 25, 2017.
Leslee Dart who is Day-Lewis’ spokeswoman says:
- “Actor Daniel Day-Lewis will soon retire from his work as an actor. He is totally grateful to all other actors and actresses who have collaborated with him and his fans over the many years. Daniel Day-Lewis’ decision to quit the movie industry is a private decision and neither he nor his representatives will make any further comment on this subject”.
According to records, Daniel Day-Lewis is currently the only actor and celebrity that has won “best actor” in Oscars Awards three times. Day-Lewis was honored for the title role in Steven Spielberg’s as “Lincoln,”. He had also earned himself two other Academy Award nominations for “Gangs of New York” and “In the Name of the Father.”
Daniel Day-Lewis is a father of three children and the husband of American popular writer and director, Rebecca Miller.
