"Rapist Case Increase To 124 In Kano State" - Police Command Says

It's quite unfortunate that we are growing in more economic meltdown and social vices. Recently, the Kano state police command reported that more people who were suspected to "Rapist" have increase spontaneously from the previous number of 94 to 124 within two months!

DSP Magaji Musa Majia who is the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO of the state confirmed the report while parading the suspected fellow before the pressmen at Kano State police headquarters on Wednesday.

DSP Magaji also revealed that up to 115 cases of rape, sodomy and other felonious acts of indecency were also recorded between the two months, from April to June, this year.

He added that 128 victims were involved in the crimes wile 124 suspects has been arrested by the police, 94 cases were charged to the court of law and 13 were currently under thorough investigations.

In his report, he expressed his feelings of being worry and sober over the rapid increase of 'rape crimes' and other acts of indecency across the state. He further said that the Kano state police will give all its best efforts in order to suppress the blazing crimes related to raping and other issues.

The Police PRO further extend to the religious leaders and the traditional rulers as well as the community head including individuals to join hands together in support in order to battle and conquer the social vices.

RECALLED: Recently in South Africa, The Members of the country has given 'Quit Notice' to all Nigeria citizen living in the country immediately, because, they believed that Nigerians living in the country are the pillar behind social vices which also includes Drug trafficking, Prostitution, "Raping" and other act of indecency which hinder peace and security in the country.
