Adam West, the ‘Batman’ Actor Dies At 88 After Battle With Leukemia
Adam West who was the star actor of popular American TV show, “Batman” have loose his precious life at the age of 88 after having long and tedious battle with leukemia.
It’s not up to a month that Roger Moore, who acted as James Bond in 007 also dies at the age of 89.
Though, Adam West was reportedly to have died after battle with leukemia but, he dies peacefully having his family around him including his wife, Marcelle, his six children, five grandchildren and two great-grand children.
One of the official statement worded by his family reads:
- “our dad always saw himself as The Bright Knight and aspired to make a positive impact on his fans’ lives. He was and always will be our her”.
The second official statement by his family is worded on Facebook, it reads:
- “It’s with great sadness that we are sharing this news…Adam West passed away peacefully last night after a short but brave battle with leukemia, He was a beloved father, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather. There are no words to describe how much we’ll miss him. We know you’ll miss him too and we want you to know how much your love and support meant to him throughout the years. Hug your loved ones today.”
Adam West, the Batman also acted as Bruce Wayne and boosted his morale when he was still alive. Batman, the crime story, costumed-Batman and the popular comics story came to existence on ABC-TV series which have earned him alot of fame and international recognition.
