Cheick Tiote's Body Remains Arrived Ivory Coast For Final Burial

On Monday, June 5, A former Newcastle defense midfielder, Cheick Tiote lost his life untimely on a football pitch after he slumped and died immediately while practicing in Beijing, China.

The catastrophic incident has hitted both his formal football team, Newcastle and his current Chinese soccer team.

The remains of the 30-years old football has been flown from Beijing to his home country in Ivory Coast for final and proper burial.

Cheick Tiote Body Was Flown arrived Port Bouet Airport in Ivory coast capital, Abidjan on Thursday from China where he died tragically to an unknown source.

On arriving to his home country, Cheick Tiote's Remains was accepted and welcomed by crowd of fans, family and friends. Among the dignitaries that was there to welcome his body is the former Elephants coach and teammates Herve Renard, Kolo Toure, Gervinho, Tiene and Wilfred Bony who was among the pallbearers carrying the coffin containing Cheick Tiote's body when it arrived.

BBC Sports reported that Cheick Tiote's family insists that the late player who slumped and died during a training session with his Chinese club last week, to be buried in his hometown Yamoussoukro but the Ivory Coast’s Football Federation prefers Abidjan.

Rest in Peace... A great midfielder - Cheick Tiote.
